Commercial, pragmatic and highly focused executive coaching

""In a short period of time circumstance required that I rebuild my entire board. I was happy I had chosen the best 'individuals' in their respective fields but it was only after we took advantage of the services of the Executive Coaching Consultancy that I knew I had a 'team' which would far exceed anybody's expectations. The light shone on each of our characters not only enhanced our own personal self awareness but when exposed to one another, with 'tools' to help bind us together, we accelerated the power of our combined strength immeasurably. In thirty years of being introduced to a variety of executive coaching and development in many different industries I have not experienced such an immediate, effective and inspiring approach as at the Executive Coaching Consultancy.""

Lost Talent returns

A Returning Talent programme looks set to help women and men transform their lives by offering advice on returning to work following a career break to have children. Executive Coaching has teamed up with Bank of America Merrill Lynch to offer this valuable opportunity.

BOAML logoHave you ever thought about how amazing it would be to attract back to work (when they are ready) the Lost Talent - all those talented women who have taken career breaks in order to care for their families? Well Bank of America Merrill Lynch has now made this a reality for 21 women who have been stay-at-home mums/carers for the last 3 to 10 years.

We have been delighted to be their partners in creating Returning Talent which is beginning its inaugural programme on the 18th June 2012. Participants from a range of backgrounds have been invited to attend three one-day workshops (scheduled around childcare) which have been designed, developed and will be facilitated by us at The Executive Coaching Consultancy.

It has been a fantastic opportunity for us to combine our experience as executive and career coaches with our expertise supporting professionals as they transition back to work. The programme will give people the chance to review their previous careers in today’s context, reflecting on their skills, abilities and personality. They will hear from experts from the Bank about what’s changed in the industry and have the opportunity to hear from female role models about their experiences of combining a successful career and family life. At the end of the programme we hope that the returners will feel better prepared and confident to re-enter the world of work, either at Bank of America Merrill Lynch or at another organisation.

“As an employer of choice and recognised as one of the Times Top 50 Employers for Women, we are keen to ensure we attract, retain and develop talented individuals. We recognise that choosing to have a family is a very important stage in a person’s life, and that some decide to take time away from work to focus completely on caring for their family.” Michelle Fullerton, head of Diversity and Inclusion for Europe and Emerging Markets (ex Asia) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Having made this choice it doesn’t mean this talent can’t RETURN!
