In 1996 Kate joined The Executive Coaching Consultancy as an executive coach with 15 years experience as a management development specialist. Her previous 9 years were spent with The Burton Group (now Arcadia Group Ltd and Debenhams Ltd). A skilled facilitator, Kate has designed and run development events for senior managers at all levels particularly in the field of individual development planning and coaching skills. She is particularly interested in developing the skills of internal coaches, at masterclass level for HR coaches as well as helping line managers adopt a coaching style of management. Kate has worked with many senior managers since 1995 on a one to one basis. She has worked internationally and cross-culturally with many of her clients. Kate helps to construct practical plans, which link individual needs, career aspirations and current performance, resulting in increased productivity and motivation. In addition to being an experienced executive coach Kate has also worked on career development processes in organisations and has been involved in competency-based assessment programmes for senior managers. She has worked on programmes as an assessor and also as an executive coach helping managers create robust action plans based on feedback received. Kate's clients include: Liberty, BHS, The Arcadia Group, House of Fraser, Sainsbury's, Blockbuster Entertainment, The Body Shop Express Newspapers, AOL, MTV, Clear Channel Entertainment, Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Chase Manhattan Bank, Lincoln Insurance, Royal Bank of Scotland, HBoS, NatWest Bank, Telereal, Land Securities, Morgan Sindall, RoK Group, Toyota, ICL, Argenta Discovery and Cameron McKenna. A Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, BPS level A and B qualified (16 pf, MBTI, PAPI etc), Kate is a fully accredited member of The Association for Coaching, Kate has a postgraduate Diploma in Career Counselling (Birkbeck College) and has recently completed a Diploma in Business Coaching.
